Can we legally ride on Quebec bike paths ?!

YES!

RIDE BIKE STYLE electric bicycles are conform to Quebec standards. Anywhere you can legally ride a bike, RIDE BIKE STYLE bikes can also be ridden, as long as you follow the rules of the applicable traffic laws.

What is the fastest I can ride?

32 km / h. At the factory, all of our bikes are preset to have a maximum speed of 32 km / h to comply with Quebec regulations.
The maximum speed depends on several factors, such as the weight of the driver, the wind speed, the degree of the slope, the temperature.

A Ride Bike Style electric bike ... is it really heavy?

It all depends on the model you choose, but here are a few examples:

- The Greaser, Vacay and Grizzly weigh approximately 28kg;

- The Outsider and the Tricycle weigh approximately 27kg;

- The uTurn is 25kg;

- The City, Urban Classic and Urban Prestige weigh approximately 23kg;

- The Slim is 13kg.

How often does my battery need to be replaced?

Our Samsung™ and LG™ batteries will last between 800 to 1000 charge cycles. This equates to around 50,000 km total per battery, but on condition that good practices are followed :

- Do not allow the battery to discharge completely (automatic cut-off level);

- Never overcharge the battery (with a maximum of 4 and 6 hours of charge);

- Use only the charger provided by Ride Bike Style to recharge your battery;

- First plug in the socket of your electric bike and then the wall socket of your charger.

How to recharge the battery and how long does it take?

RIDE BIKE STYLE electric bikes are supplied with their own Lithium-Ion charger, this charger plugs into any 110V household outlet and then connects to your charging port located under the tank or on the battery.

It takes about 4-6 hours to fully charge the battery.

Only the charger provided with the purchase of your bicycle is appropriate for your bicycle. Do not use another charger, as this may damage your battery and reduce its capacity.

To ensure maximum lifespan, be sure to follow the following guidelines:

- Do not allow the battery to discharge completely (automatic cut-off level);

- Never overcharge the battery (with a maximum of 4 and 6 hours of charge);

- Use only the charger provided by Ride Bike Style to recharge your battery;

How do I take care of my battery for long periods without use?

Our Samsung™ and LG™ batteries won't discharge excessively during long periods of non-use (such as in winter), but some advice should be prescribed:

• Do not allow the battery to discharge completely: keep the battery between 30% and 70% of its capacity.
• Never charge the battery up to 100%.
• Store at a minimum temperature of 20 degrees.
